Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

Python & Splunk Scripting Developer

with hands-on experience in automation, data analysis, and dashboard development. The ideal candidate should be proficient in

Python scripting

,

Splunk SPL

, and

front-end technologies (HTML, CSS)

to build, automate, and visualize operational and business data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain

Python scripts

for automation, data processing, and system integration. Write and optimize

Splunk SPL queries

for log analysis, monitoring, alerts, and reporting. Design and maintain

Splunk dashboards and visualizations

. Integrate Python scripts with Splunk using APIs and SDKs. Develop and enhance UI components using

HTML and CSS

for dashboards and internal tools. Troubleshoot data issues and optimize performance of scripts and queries. Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Operations teams to meet monitoring and reporting needs. Document scripts, dashboards, and technical workflows.

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in

Python scripting

Hands-on experience with

Splunk SPL (Search Processing Language)

Experience creating

Splunk dashboards, alerts, and reports

Working knowledge of

HTML and CSS

Experience with REST APIs and data formats (JSON, XML) Good understanding of log management and monitoring concepts Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments

Good to Have:

Experience with

JavaScript

for advanced dashboard customization Knowledge of

DevOps tools

(Git, CI/CD, Jenkins) Exposure to

cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, GCP) Basic knowledge of cybersecurity or SIEM concepts Experience with automation frameworks or scheduling tools

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
