As a Lead Python & Groovy Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and lead the development of innovative solutions to manage our infrastructure and improve our CI/CD pipeline. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our systems, and play a key role in our overall software development life cycle.

Role:
Primary Skills
Strong scripting skills in Python and, with the ability to automate and optimize processes using scripting and infrastructure as code (IaC)
Expertise in CI/CD Pipeline and Tools such as Jenkins and GitLab and development of shared libraries
In-depth knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Comfortable with version control systems (Git, SVN) and Linux Command line
Excellent leadership skills and experience managing and mentoring teams of engineers.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Good to have Skills
Agile Scrum based Development.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with hands-on expertise in building AWS AMIs to use as custom build servers.
Experience with common OSS observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki), and implementation (Metrics, Logs, Traces)
Exposure to Artifact repositories (Artifactory), Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
Experience with Node.js package/module creation and publishing, dependency management tools (npm, yarn), JavaScript libraries and build tooling.
Understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in a production environment
Experience with building AOSP source code is a plus

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions to manage our infrastructure and improve our CI/CD pipelines.
Be Responsive & Reliable and ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our systems.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across world to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of projects
Initiate deep technical design discussions within your team, and across partner teams, and ensure that we are building the right systems and keeping the quality high.
Enable our infrastructure to achieve a high level of reliability while keeping simplicity front and centre.
Champion and build automation first within the infrastructure group
Build tools that streamline development and deployment of infrastructure stacks
Build and scale our monitoring and metrics tooling, standards, and processes, to facilitate data-informed decision making.
Optimize the utilization of cloud resources to balance performance and cost.
Implement and maintain security controls in a production environment.
Perform code reviews and sanity checks for the code developed.
Mentor and guide your team of engineers, helping them to grow their skills and advance their careers
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for improving the company's technology stack

Education/Qualification:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Desirable Skills:
