Job Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain both pythons back end and JavaScript/html/CSS front end.
• Work with cybersecurity teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and compliance with various controls including DEPL.
• Experienced in sharing knowledge and driving best practices
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability through proactive monitoring and tuning.
• Maintain and improve container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
• Demonstrate experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Cybersecurity/Development/Operations
• Relevant knowledge of Software architecture, design, development and deliver
• Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Systems Engineer, DBA
• Strong Knowledge about API design standards, patterns, and best-practices especially Swagger and Open API 3.0
• REST, JSON, Micro services etc.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization of services

Skills:
Must:

• Proficient Python 11+
• Postgres
• Data migration tools (Liquibase, Flywheel, Alembic, Django migrations) would be very useful
• Understanding of APIs, ability to use and creates ones
• Ability to use / support CI/CD pipelines
• GitHub usage + git
• Exposure to CSS/JS/HTML would be beneficial
• Docker/Containers

Preferred:

• Databricks experience (querying data at the very minimum, general SQL would do initially though)
• Linux experience is desirable
• Knowledge of networks/firewalls would be nice to have
• Experience with Hashi Corp Vault would be good as well as Entra ID and Active Directory/LDAP
