This will be done in conjunction with fellow engineers, business analysts and business stakeholders.



To be successful as a Python ETL Developer BA4 India Perm - Control Room Surveillance you should have experience with:

Strong hands-on programming experience in Python, SQL and Unix shell scripting. Exposure to PySpark, Hive, and Impala. Exposure to Mongo DB or any other NoSQL database. Experience with scheduling tools like AutoSys, airflow, Control-M. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence). Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitLab. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and drive delivery with minimal supervision.

Some other highly valued skills include:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant hands-on experience on Informatica PowerCenter or IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) will be a plus. Team player, co-operative, and able to work in a large team across multiple locations and time zones.

This role is based in Pune.

Purpose of the role

To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.

Accountabilities

Build and maintenance of data architectures pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data. Design and implementation of data warehoused and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures. Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes. Collaboration with data scientist to build and deploy machine learning models.
