Design and develop: Using Python (Django), design and develop new features (primarily back-end) that are scalable, secure, efficient, maintainable, and easy to integrate.
Collaborate and Communicate: Work with product managers / delivery managers to estimate, integrate, and implement required business ideas
Establish Standards: Set and adhere to technical standards, tools, and processes, to ensure consistency across the organization.
Optimize Performance: Ensure optimal application performance, security, and scalability across different devices and browsers.
Synergy with UI / UX team: Working closely with UI / UX teams to ensure front-end and back-end integration by paying attention to detail and user experience.
Write Clean Code: Maintain and improve code quality by following best practices, conducting code reviews, and ensuring code is well-documented.
Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing (including system test, unit test, and integration test) and debugging of applications to ensure a high level of functionality and performance.
Proficient with software development tools and practices such as Jira (or something similar), Confluence (or something similar), Agile methodologies (Scrum), Docker, and Kubernetes etc.
Skills requirements:
Essential skills: Python, Django, Basic Web (HTML, CSS, Javascript), SQL Database, Design patterns, RESTful API, Git, Docker, Unit Testing (Tools like pytest, Playwright)
Optional skills: Knowledge of HTMX, Linux, Temporal, Alpine.js
Certifications - A reputed certification in the space of Python (Django), Web development, Scrum, JavaScript, or similar
Education and experience requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.Tech. or B.E.) in Computer Science or Information Technology
4-8 years of relevant experience in Python Development.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Django.
