Python Engineer About the role We are looking for an experienced technical specialist who has previously worked with a range of business systems, who enjoys working with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will be taking a senior position in a team of developers in order to maintain and scale our content personalisation system. Will be collaborating with product delivery managers, quality assurance, product strategists and data specialists, to understand the project needs and requirements of a new large-scale social community platform. Job purpose You will have live product development experience, strong technical skills and will be used to working within a cross-functional team. You will have a minimum 4 years of experience in building backend applications using Python.
You will be working within the personalisation work stream of a team delivering a green-field community platform and expected to deliver to high standards within your technical expertise and experience. Key responsibilities \xe2\x97\x8f Building data stream processing applications in order to deliver various business objectives for our personalisation engine \xe2\x97\x8f Developing simple API contracts via REST layer as well as data access layer \xe2\x97\x8f Manage and scale our metadata enrichment pipelines for images and video labelling using AI tools and techniques \xe2\x97\x8f Ensuring observability capabilities built in \xe2\x97\x8f Following our standards around data privacy and handling sensitive data. \xe2\x97\x8f Collaborating with technical architect and quality team in order to refine and define development roadmap \xe2\x97\x8f Coordinating with our community of development practice in order to extend and defend best standards. You will need\xe2\x80\xa6 \xe2\x97\x8f A strong background in python development techniques in order to write clean and testable code. \xe2\x97\x8f Have a strong background integrating with data layer such as MySQL, MongoDB, ES, Kafka. Implementing CRUD operations, extending existing schema and ETL processing. \xe2\x97\x8f Have experience working with ML libraries such as torch, tensorflow, keras and vision libraries \xe2\x97\x8f Have understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies. \xe2\x97\x8f Extensive experience of working with cloud based environments ( AWS) It will be a big plus if you have\xe2\x80\xa6 \xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge and experience in conversational AI libraries in order to build automation Bots \xe2\x97\x8f Working with business rules engines in order to deliver low code business abstraction layer Work location: remote Job Type: Full-time Salary: Up to 250,000.00 per month Benefits:
