Job Description

Develop and Maintain:

Write clean, efficient, reusable, and testable Python code for various applications, services, and backend components.

API Development:

Design, implement, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs/microservices.

Integration:

Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.

Database Management:

Work with data storage solutions (SQL/NoSQL) and design/optimize database schemas for maximum performance.

Collaboration:

Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders within an Agile development process.

Optimization & Debugging:

Identify and fix bottlenecks, debug software defects, and continuously improve application responsiveness and performance.

Quality Assurance:

Create and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Expert Proficiency in Python:

Deep understanding of the language, its object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, and core libraries.

Python Web Frameworks:

Proven experience with at least one popular Python framework (e.g., Django, Flask, or FastAPI).

Database Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).

API & Integration:

Experience with creating and consuming RESTful APIs.

Version Control:

Proficiency with Git and standard code branching/merging strategies.

Operating Systems:

Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.

Qualifications (Education & Experience)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
