Senior Python Backend Engineer

FastAPI, AWS

Key Responsibilities:

Develop scalable APIs and backend services using

FastAPI

Design event-driven systems using

Amazon SQS

Work with

AWS

services: Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway Manage

PostgreSQL

and

MongoDB

databases Integrate AI/ML models into backend systems Implement secure APIs with

OAuth2

JWT

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS) Participate in code reviews and team mentorship

Requirements:

5+ years in Python backend development Strong experience with

FastAPI

, or Flask/Django with FastAPI readiness Solid AWS cloud experience Hands-on with

Amazon SQS

and messaging systems Database expertise: PostgreSQL, MongoDB Bonus: Experience with AI/ML integration Familiar with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes Strong communication & collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

Experience with high-availability systems Knowledge of

Terraform

CloudFormation

, CloudWatch, ELK stack Background in startups or agile team
