IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python Developer to join our dynamic team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our CX & Digital Channels, ensuring the smooth functioning of our online banking services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications for our CX & Digital Channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Python development
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Experience with web development frameworks such as Django or Flask
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Parameters:
- Experience in banking or financial services industry is a plus
- Knowledge of mobile application development is a plus
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
