Job Title: DP Language and Literature Teacher

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated DP Language and Literature teacher to join our IB Diploma Programme team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Literature and English Language, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire students to develop analytical and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver well-planned and engaging lessons aligned with the IBDP framework for Language and Literature. Foster critical thinking, interpretation, and communication skills through a variety of teaching methods. Provide individualised support and feedback to students to help them achieve their academic potential. Assess and record student progress, prepare formative and summative assessments, and share timely feedback. Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning, moderation, and interdisciplinary learning opportunities. Organise and participate in subject-specific events, literary activities, and school-wide initiatives. Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training sessions, and collaborative learning.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature. Excellent command of English with strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues. Creative, energetic, and committed to high-quality implementation. Technology inclined and computer literate (Windows/macOS/Linux, G Suite, Google Meet, Zoom, etc.). Prior experience with the IBDP framework (preferred, not mandatory).

Work Time

DP: 7:40 AM to 3:45 PM (Monday to Saturday)
