We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated

IB PYP Social Science Teacher

to join our academic team in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will be passionate about

inquiry-based learning

, capable of integrating social studies concepts into

transdisciplinary themes

, and committed to nurturing global-minded, reflective learners in alignment with the

IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)

philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver

Social Science lessons

within the

IB PYP framework

. Foster

inquiry-based and concept-driven learning

experiences. Plan and implement

transdisciplinary units

that connect social studies to other subjects. Develop and assess students through formative and summative assessments. Encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and communication among students. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues on planning, reflection, and curriculum review. Participate in

IB training workshops

and professional development programs. Engage with parents to share student progress and learning outcomes.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of

Social Science concepts

and inquiry-based teaching. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to integrate

technology and innovative teaching methods

. Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Passion for holistic education and child development.

Preferred Qualifications:

B.Ed. (mandatory) with specialization in Social Science. Experience in

IB / Cambridge / International curriculum

schools preferred. IB PYP training or certification (added advantage). Freshers with strong communication skills and interest in IB methodology may apply.
