Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled

PYP Science Teacher

to join our team in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate will have a strong science background and a deep understanding of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework. She will be responsible for creating an inquiry-based, engaging, and hands-on learning environment that promotes scientific curiosity and critical thinking among students.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver science lessons aligned with the IB PYP curriculum Facilitate student inquiry and exploration through interactive and real-world learning experiences Incorporate transdisciplinary themes in science instruction Use formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor and report student progress Plan collaborative units with other subject teachers for interdisciplinary learning Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities Foster a safe, respectful, and stimulating classroom environment Maintain documentation and student portfolios according to IB standards Participate in professional development, PYP workshops, and planning sessions Communicate regularly with parents and other stakeholders about student performance

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Science / Education or a relevant discipline 1 - 2 years of experience teaching science at the primary level Knowledge of or experience with the IB PYP curriculum is an advantage Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong classroom management and organizational skills Passionate about inquiry-based, student-centered learning Female candidates preferred
