About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable

PYP Sanskrit Teacher

to join our IB curriculum-based school. The ideal candidate should have strong command over Sanskrit, an understanding of inquiry-based learning, and the ability to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences for primary students.

Key Responsibilities

Teach

Sanskrit

to primary students following

IB PYP curriculum

guidelines. Develop inquiry-driven lesson plans, activities, and assessments aligned with PYP principles. Foster reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in Sanskrit. Maintain student portfolios, documentation, and progress records as per IB standards. Collaborate with teachers to integrate Sanskrit learning into interdisciplinary units. Promote a supportive, interactive, and learner-centered classroom environment. Participate in PYP planning sessions, training workshops, and school events. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student growth and development.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong command of

Sanskrit language and literature

. Understanding of

IB PYP philosophy

and inquiry-based learning (preferred). Ability to present ancient language concepts in simple, engaging ways for young learners. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Creativity, patience, and passion for early-years education. Basic knowledge of digital teaching tools.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduation with

B.Ed

(mandatory).

1-5 years

of teaching experience, preferably in an IB PYP environment. Only
