The Shri Ram Academy is a Day-Boarding School offering International Continuum Curriculum in partnership with the Shri Educare Limited. We are currently an IB PYP and MYP candidate school.

Brief Description of Position:

To carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the school's policies under the direction of the Director Education, Head of School, Head of PYP and PYP Coordinator.

A primary school class teacher is an informed, reflective practitioner who uses inquiry based strategies to create positive learning environments, which motivate and challenge all learners in their class to become self-regulated, life-long learners and leaders.

Curriculum:

1. Demonstrating comprehensive curriculum knowledge, particularly in Science/Social Sciences, Literacy and Numeracy

2. Infusing critical thinking and reflective skills into the curriculum

3. Teaching all Primary Years Programme subjects in the junior school

4. Ensuring curriculum continuity and progression in collaboration with colleagues

An IB PYP Homeroom Teacher assumes a pivotal role in guiding students during their formative years, nurturing their love for learning, and cultivating skills and attitudes essential for success in a globally connected and rapidly evolving world.
