About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced

PYP English Teacher

to join our IB curriculum-based school. The ideal candidate should have strong command over English language teaching, a deep understanding of the PYP framework, and the ability to create a learner-centered, inquiry-based environment for young students.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver English lessons aligned with the

IB PYP curriculum

. Develop inquiry-based learning experiences that foster curiosity and critical thinking. Create detailed lesson plans, learning engagements, and assessments as per PYP guidelines. Promote reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills through innovative methods. Maintain portfolios, documentation, and records of student progress. Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary learning projects. Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. Participate in PYP planning sessions, training, and school events. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development and progress.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of the

IB PYP philosophy and teaching approaches

(preferred). Excellent command of English language. Creative teaching methodology suitable for primary learners. Classroom management skills with a nurturing and patient approach. Ability to design engaging, inquiry-driven lessons. Comfort with technology-based teaching tools.
