Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled

PYP English Teacher

to join our IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) team. The ideal candidate will be able to inspire young learners to develop strong communication, reading, and writing skills while fostering a love for the English language through engaging, inquiry-based lessons.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with IB PYP curriculum standards. Foster inquiry-based learning and encourage critical thinking in students. Integrate reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in daily lessons. Create engaging and interactive classroom activities. Assess student progress and provide personalized feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary units of inquiry. Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Use technology effectively to enhance English language learning. Participate in PYP professional development and training.

Required Skills & Competencies

Excellent command of the English language (spoken & written). Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Creativity in lesson planning and delivery. Understanding of the IB PYP framework and philosophy. Ability to inspire curiosity and a love for learning.
