SW and/or HW Engineering for Boiler / BOP / HRSG or Steam Turbine system, for DCS / PLC retrofit greenfield projects Accomplishing Process Testing through Tie-Back Simulation Conducting customer FAT (HW SW) Performing site commissioning Primary Duties and Accountabilities: Site walk-downs for data collection Implementation of Boiler / BOP and/or Steam Turbine Process simulation testing Pre-FAT, FAT clean-up after FAT Verification and functional testing of I/O interfaces to field devices I/O database partitioning for redundancy and fail-safe configurations Compliance with internal and customer safety and security requirements Working with contractors / sub-contractors Nurturing smooth collaboration and communication with all stake holders Lesson learnt and knowledge sharing at the end of an assignment Required Skills: B. Tech. / B.E. (ECE, EEE, IC, EI) 2 to 5 years of experience in Application Engineering for Power and Water Projects Proficient language and communication skills; both verbal and written Ability to write reports, business correspondence and commissioning documents Ability to effectively present information and respond to queries from groups of managers, clients and customers Ability to interface with vendors sub-contractors Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ready to take travelling assignment Added Advantage: Power/Water Plant Process knowledge Proficiency with one or more DCS platforms (e.g. ABB Pro Control / Bailey INFI 90, Siemens T3000 / TXP, GE Mark VI, Mitsubishi DIASYS Netmation, Invensys, Honeywell TDC3000, Max DNA, Metso DNA, Alstom Alspa320 etc.) Datalinks (Modbus RTU / TCP-IP, ELC, Profibus, OPC) FAT Experience
