Platform Architect (Azure/DevOps): 9 \xe2\x80\x93 16 years\xe2\x80\x99 Experience
Roles and Responsibilities
\xc2\xb7 Guide customers to ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services following the principles of the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework
\xc2\xb7 Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
\xc2\xb7 Develop infrastructure, database and networking architecture for highly available, Internet-scale applications
\xc2\xb7 Define rehost, re-platform and re-architect migration strategies
\xc2\xb7 Should be able to develop overall strategy for Build & Release management
\xc2\xb7 Develop architecture of highly scalable, secure, efficient, and resilient systems
\xc2\xb7 Analyze Requirements and proactively estimate and project the requirements for infrastructure, security and DevOps initiatives
\xc2\xb7 Mentor, guide, support and inspire the team of talented Cloud/DevOps engineers from both technical and human-perspectives
\xc2\xb7 Develop PoCs, design & deployment of new cloud-based services for product environments
- Experience with modern deployment mechanisms like Canary and Blue-Green
- Familiarity with working on an Agile/Iterative development framework
- Detail-Oriented and passionate about DevOps, Automation, Data-Driven decisions
\xc2\xb7 Minimum 7+ years relevant experience in Azure/DevOps is must
\xc2\xb7 Hands on experience with AWS Services like vNet, VM, VMSS, Storage, LB, Application Gateway, Key vault, SQL, Docker/Kubernetes, IAM, Azure AD, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Function and Logic Apps
\xc2\xb7 Experience with Infrastructure as Code Tooling \xe2\x80\x93 Terraform/ARM Template/Bicep
\xc2\xb7 Hands on skills in scripting or coding with modern languages Python, Powershell scripting
\xc2\xb7 Experience with Configuration management tooling (Ansible/Chef, Puppet and Packer are good to have.)
\xc2\xb7 Having knowledge and understanding of Security controls in Azure would be a plus
\xc2\xb7 Strong Docker and Kubernetes skills
\xc2\xb7 Some experience with windows or unix administration
\xc2\xb7 Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Pipelines and tooling (Azure Devops, GitLab, Jenkins, Github, Jira, or related)
\xc2\xb7 Should be able to propose new solutions for CI/CD implementation
\xc2\xb7 Experience with cloud migration technologies such as Azure Migrate, and other third party Migration tools
\xc2\xb7 Proven experience with homogeneous and heterogeneous database migrations from on-prem to Azure
