PurpleTutor is India's fastest growing Ed-tech startup in the Kids coding space. Founded by educators and technology leaders from IIT Bombay, PurpleTutor aims to build the next generation of creators by empowering them with the art of coding. The curriculum has been designed in collaboration with two top global institutes- the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE).
Key Result Areas
Developing python/advanced python resources is required
Designing and developing new course lesson plans for children based on provided guidelines/instruction methodologies.
Content designing, reviewing, updating existing curriculum
Innovative teaching-learning processes
Innovative lesson plans
Child centric philosophy
Reviewing content created by freelancers.
Developing comprehensive formative assessment practices for the courses.
Working closely with the graphic designers to come up with images that complement the content.
Coordinating with the language auditors to ensure that the content is delivered error-free.
Qualifications required
Minimum a bachelor's degree in CS/Applied Maths/Robotics (BSc/BS/BE/BTech)
Sound knowledge of programming languages like HTML, JavaScript, Python and Scratch.
A Master’s degree is a plus
Experience required
2-3 years of experience in teaching Computer Science/Robotics/Applied Mathematics.
Minimum 2 years of experience in developing content for Computer Science/Robotics/Applied Mathematics.
Training kids on any of these areas on an online platform is a plus.
Skills & personal attribute
2-3 yrs experience of Teaching or Developing in Python is a must
Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is a plus
Creative teaching styles
Sound knowledge of Innovative teaching pedagogies
Familiar with using basic technology
Work discipline and leading by example
Ability to work within a team
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ?500,000.00 - ?800,000.00 per year
