Role Summary
Specialist - Stores & Purchase
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing the store management and maintaining reduced inventory levels.
Inventory Control and Inventory Management Ensure optimum inventory levels within in the targets.
Maintain the stock of materials with 100% accuracy level by conducting the physical stock verification and documentation.
Implementing SOP within the warehouse and training team members in maintain compliance with these procedures
Ensuring quality packaging to prevent goods from damaged in transit.
Packing improvement for quality related & functional components and coordinating to green logistics.
Preparing MIS reports.
Preparing material requirement planning as per production floor needs
Tracking and maintaining inventory levels in the stores for all items required in the plant
Efficiently managing the inventory levels, for ensuring readily availability of material to meet production and dispatch targets
Preparing BOS report and sending the same to top management.
Involving in the subcontracting and Reconciliation activities.
Lead the team with 15 persons.
Knowledge and Education
Diploma / B.E. Mechanical
Key Qualifications/Requirements
Material Requirement planning as per production plan and co-ordination with steel Mills/stamping supplier for timely supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
Sourcing potential suppliers in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
Develop new suppliers to get the supply of the materials at right time competitive price.
Supervising logistics operations Viz., sea freight & inland transportations up to factory warehousing.Coordinating with customs House Agents
C&F Agents and other external agencies for ensuring the timely clearances & cost effective transport solutions
Negotiating with transporters and shippers etc., to ensure seamless and cost-effective movement of consignments.
Work Experience
8 to 10 Year of Experience
