We are hiring a Purchasing Manager to manage procurement for our supermarkets. The role includes sourcing products, negotiating best prices, creating customer offers, coordinating with multiple locations, and ensuring accurate financial adjustments with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
Purchase supermarket goods (grocery, food, household items) from wholesale markets, online platforms, and manufacturers.
Negotiate prices, discounts, and offers to reduce costs.
Select compatible products for customer offers and schemes to increase store footfall.
Coordinate with store purchase managers and evaluate their performance with HR.
Handle credit notes and price variations, ensuring proper deductions from accounts.
Maintain strong vendor relationships and monitor market price trends.
Ensure timely availability of products without overstocking.

Requirements:
3+ years of experience in supermarket or retail purchasing.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of Indian wholesale markets, manufacturers, and online sourcing.
Good communication in Hindi and English.
Willingness to travel if required.
