Job Summary



The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for commercial interior fit-out projects. This role involves vendor management, ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, and maintaining quality standards while adhering to project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities Procurement Management



Identify and procure materials, fixtures, and fittings required for commercial interior fit-out projects. Prepare purchase orders, compare quotations, and finalize vendor contracts. Ensure all purchases meet project specifications, quality standards, and budget constraints.

Vendor & Supplier Management



Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and subcontractors. Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors. Maintain and update a database of preferred suppliers and vendors for future projects.

Inventory & Logistics



Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid project delays. Coordinate with warehouse and site teams to ensure proper storage and tracking of materials. Oversee logistics and transportation to ensure on-time delivery of materials to project sites.

Cost Control & Reporting



Analyze procurement costs and propose value engineering solutions to optimize spending. Track and report purchase orders, payments, and material usage for each project. Maintain accurate procurement records and generate periodic reports for management.

Compliance & Quality Assurance



Ensure all materials and services comply with project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations. Conduct periodic quality checks and resolve any issues with defective or non-compliant materials.

Coordination



Collaborate with project managers, designers, and site engineers to understand material requirements and specifications. Communicate with vendors and project teams to resolve procurement-related challenges promptly.

Key Skills and Competencies



Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Knowledge of interior fit-out materials, fixtures, and equipment. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. 1-2 years of experience in procurement for interior fit-out or construction projects.
