Job Description


As a Sourcing Executive in the chemical industry, your primary responsibility will be to manage the procurement and sourcing activities for the organization. You will work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and other teams to ensure the availability of high-quality materials and services required for the company\'s operations. Your role will involve strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, negotiations, and optimizing the procurement process to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities of Purchase Executive/Sourcing Executive Strategic Sourcing Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on their ability to meet quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability requirements. Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with the organization\'s goals and objectives. Conduct market research and monitor industry trends to identify new sourcing opportunities. Supplier Relationship Management Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Negotiate and manage contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms. Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and take corrective actions as necessary. Procurement Process Optimization Streamline the procurement process by implementing best practices, standardizing procedures, and leveraging technology solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and logistics, to ensure timely availability of materials and services. Identify areas for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation. Qualifications And Skills Bachelors degree in science stream. A master\'s degree is a plus. Minimum 3 Years Experience In Chemical & Pharmaceuticals Industries. Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles within the chemical industry or a related field. Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, procurement processes, and supplier relationship management. Familiarity with chemical industry products, materials, and manufacturing processes. Excellent negotiation, and communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
