VACANCY Purchasing coordinator ( 3 years\' experience preferred) JOB DESCRIPTION A Purchasing coordinator at KRCPL, is expected to run the purchase operations of the company smoothly by staying updated with the latest global pricing trends for the purchasing of raw materials, assessing and identifying lucrative trading offers and negotiating contracts with vendors / suppliers for furthertrading of products. We are seeking a candidate who has strong analytical, decision making, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. A candidate who is open to learn, is decisive, assertive, detail oriented, accurate, resourceful and conducts his roles and responsibilities with honesty and high professionalism will earn an extra leverage. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct second source market research and identify new potential suppliers and vendors. Conduct raw material/trading product price analysis based on market research. Prepare and send POs for company and contracts (if applicable). Negotiate contracts for pricing and supply reasonably. Issue purchase reports with cost analysis. Undertake verification, monitoring and tracking of new purchase orders and the orders received. Maintain documentation of the purchase orders and update them daily. Co-ordinate with other departments to ensure timely deliveries. Support the accounts team to maintain records of all purchases, payments and received stocks. Calculate the lead time required for purchase orders and plan the logistics and supply efficiently. Stay updated with new market trends and sales practices. Skillfully resolve the shipment errors and plan efficiently in advance. Coordinate with quality control team for quality assessment of suppliers and support in evaluating supplier performance. PROFILE Bachelor\'s degree in logistics, marketing, business administration, or relevant field. Strong understanding of purchasing policies and processes. Advanced knowledge of MS-Office tools is necessary. Should be proficient in English and Hindi/Gujarati. A team player with strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, an ability to work in diverse environment, a proven experience in customer service practices and an understanding of sales principles.
