Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors/suppliers for materials, spare parts, and services
Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and follow-ups
Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with vendors
Ensure timely procurement of construction materials, machinery parts, fuel, and consumables
Maintain proper purchase records, vendor data, and rate comparisons
Coordinate with site team, accounts, and stores for material requirement and delivery
Ensure quality, quantity, and specifications as per requirement
Monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or excess inventory
Handle billing verification and coordinate with accounts for payment processing
Ensure compliance with company purchase policies and procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate (B.Com / BBA / Any relevant degree preferred)
2-5 years of experience as Purchaser (Construction industry preferred)
Good knowledge of local vendors and market rates
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Basic knowledge of GST, billing, and inventory
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and ERP (if applicable)
Ability to work independently and under pressure
