Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced B2C

Purchaser - Home Textiles with strong textile knowledge to manage end-to-end product planning, sourcing, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Management

Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for home textile products such as bedsheets, curtains, cushion covers, towels, etc. Develop long-term supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality and supply Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards

Procurement Planning

Forecast material requirements based on sales trends, seasonal demand, and inventory levels Prepare and execute purchase plans to maintain uninterrupted stock availability

Order Management

Raise and process purchase orders accurately and on time Track order status, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve delays or discrepancies

Cost Control

Monitor market trends and price movements to achieve cost efficiency Ensure value-driven purchasing without compromising on product quality

Quality Assurance

Coordinate with Quality Control teams to ensure products meet approved specifications Manage returns, replacements, and claims for defective or damaged goods

Inventory Coordination

Maintain optimal stock levels in coordination with warehouse and sales teams Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and dead stock items for effective planning

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier agreements, and invoices Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations

Market Research & Product Sourcing

Stay updated on new trends, materials, and innovations in the home textile segment Source new and cost-effective product ranges aligned with market demand

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with design, merchandising, sales, accounts, and warehouse teams Align procurement activities with business and retail goals

Budget & Reporting

Operate within approved procurement budgets Prepare regular reports on purchase performance, cost savings, and vendor evaluation

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of core experience in Home textile buying / purchasing Graduate or Post-Graduate qualification mandatory Textile experience in B2C retail is compulsory Strong negotiation and communication skills Good understanding of Home textiles. Familiarity with ERP systems and purchase order management

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
