Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and qualify vendors for mechanical parts, sheet metal, castings, and machining. Ensure vendors comply with

QCD

(Quality, Cost, Delivery) standards. Develop sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve lead times. Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams to set vendor requirements. Conduct audits and capability assessments at vendor locations. Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers. Monitor vendor performance and support corrective actions as needed. Work with the purchase department to streamline procurement processes. Maintain up-to-date records of vendor documentation and compliance.

Key Requirements:

BE Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 1 to 5 years of relevant experience Strong knowledge of

machining processes

Experience with

sheet metal

casting

fabrication

vendors Proficient in

technical drawing interpretation

(including GD&T) Good communication and negotiation skills Familiarity with
