Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic

Purchase & Supply Chain Manager

to oversee procurement, logistics, inventory management, and vendor relations. The role involves optimizing the supply chain process to reduce costs, improve efficiency, ensure timely delivery of goods/services, and support overall business operations.

Key Responsibilities:Procurement & Purchasing:

Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms. Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Monitor and control purchasing budgets and costs. Maintain up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information.

Supply Chain & Logistics:

Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, sourcing, production, logistics, and warehousing. Coordinate with internal departments (production, sales, finance) to forecast demand and manage inventory levels. Ensure timely and cost-effective transportation and distribution of goods. Monitor key supply chain KPIs (lead time, stock turnover, delivery accuracy, etc.).

Vendor & Inventory Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Conduct regular supplier evaluations and performance reviews. Manage inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts. Implement inventory tracking systems to maintain accuracy and control.

Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental standards in procurement and logistics. Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies. Stay updated with market trends, new products, and supply chain innovations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field. 5+ years of experience in purchasing and supply chain roles; managerial experience preferred. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Proficient in supply chain software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, Excel). Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
