Oversee purchasing, source suppliers, obtain competitive bids, and negotiate prices/terms for all hotel needs.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels, storage, and distribution to prevent waste and shortages, ensuring appropriate stock for all departments (rooms, F&B, etc.).
Supplier Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and evaluate their performance.
Cost Control:
Implement cost-saving initiatives, analyze market trends, and report savings to management.
Policy & Compliance:
Ensure all purchases adhere to hotel policies, brand standards, and local regulations, including proper documentation.
Inter-Departmental Liaison:
Collaborate with Finance, F&B, Housekeeping, and other departments to understand needs and support operations.
Reporting:
Prepare reports on purchasing activities, market analysis, and inventory levels.
Knowledge of IDS or similar software and having two wheeler driving license will be an added advantage.
The candidate must be willing to join the duty as early as possible.
Mostly preference will be given to those who have worked in hotel industry
The candidate must at least have minimum 2-3 years experience.
