Coordinate with vendors for purchasing medical, surgical, pharmacy, and general items.
Obtain quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and process purchase orders.
Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
Receive materials, verify quantity & quality, and update stock records.
Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper storage of items.
Maintain vendor records and support vendor payments by providing required documents.
Handle internal department requests and ensure timely issue of materials.
Prepare daily/weekly stock and consumption reports.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and audit requirements.
Skills Required:
Basic knowledge of purchase and inventory management
Good communication and negotiation skills
Computer skills (Excel, Email, ERP/HIS preferred)
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Qualification & Experience:
Any degree/diploma
1-3 years of experience in purchase/stores (hospital experience preferred)
