Job Description

Identify and evaluate suppliers for materials like fabric, wood, foam, metal, and mechanisms for sofas/chairs. Negotiate pricing, quality, delivery timelines, and contract terms with vendors. Issue and manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods. Maintain effective communication with design, production, and quality departments for seamless manufacturing. Analyze consumption data, forecast inventory requirements, and prevent shortages or overstocking. Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records, and ensure compliance with quality and company standards Receive, inspect, and report on quality and quantity of incoming materials. Properly store raw materials, hardware, finished goods, and maintain optimal warehouse organization. Track stock movement (inward/outward), keep inventory records up to date, and perform regular stock audits. Replenish inventory as per production requirements, using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method. Supervise store staff and oversee safe handling, labeling, and storage as per safety standards. Coordinate with purchase, production, and dispatch teams for efficient workflow.
