Job Description

Key Responsibilities Purchase Responsibilities

Source and purchase all required materials for the hotel/resort including: Food & Beverage items Housekeeping supplies Engineering & maintenance materials Spa, front office, and guest supplies Obtain

competitive quotations

and negotiate best prices, quality, and delivery timelines. Prepare

Purchase Orders (POs)

as per approved indent and company policy. Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid operational shortages. Develop and maintain a

reliable vendor database

. Coordinate with departments for purchase requirements and specifications. Ensure purchases comply with

budget approvals and cost control norms

. Follow

GST and statutory compliance

for all purchases.
Store Responsibilities

Receive materials as per PO and check: Quantity Quality Expiry date (especially F&B and consumables) Prepare

Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)

and update inventory records. Maintain proper

stock registers / software entries

. Issue materials to departments against approved indents. Maintain

FIFO/FEFO

method for stock issuance. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and hygiene standards. Conduct

daily, weekly, and monthly stock checks

. Report slow-moving, non-moving, expired, or damaged stock. Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels.
Coordination & Control

Coordinate with: Accounts for bill verification and payment processing Departments for consumption control Vendors for replacements and follow-ups Assist in

monthly stock audits

and physical verification. Control pilferage, wastage, and misuse of materials. Support cost-saving initiatives and inventory optimization.
Documentation & Reporting

Maintain complete purchase and store documentation: PO, GRN, invoices, indents Submit daily and monthly reports: Purchase summary Stock consumption Closing inventory Support internal and external audits.
Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of hotel inventory systems Strong negotiation skills Good coordination and communication Basic accounting & GST knowledge MS Excel / ERP / Hotel software proficiency Attention to detail and integrity
Preferred Qualification & Experience

Graduate (any stream) 2-5 years experience in hotel or resort store & purchase operations Knowledge of hospitality standards and vendor management
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
