POSITION: PURCHASE EXECUTIVE (Purchase & Store)



Basic : A Purchase Executive in the Indian QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by maintaining a steady supply of materials, ingredients, packaging, and equipment. Their responsibilities require a mix of supply chain management, vendor coordination, cost control, and compliance, Plan, direct, or coordinate the activities of buyers, purchasing officers, and related workers involved in purchasing materials, products, vendor management, price negotiable and monthly store inventories etc. services.

Procurement & Sourcing



Source raw materials (e.g., vegetables, spices, meat, dairy) and packaging (e.g., containers, napkins, disposable cutlery).

Ensure the timely purchase of food-grade items and non-food items like uniforms, cleaning materials, etc.

Identify and qualify vendors and suppliers.

Vendor Management



Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery timelines, and contracts.

Evaluate vendor performance (quality, cost, delivery consistency).

Inventory Management



Monitor inventory levels and reorder as needed.

Coordinate with warehouse or central kitchen teams to track stock.

Minimize wastage and avoid stockouts or overstocking.

4.

Cost Control & Budgeting



Ensure procurement within allocated budgets.

Monitor market price trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Maintain cost sheets and regularly update price comparisons.

5.

Quality Assurance & Compliance



Ensure all procured items meet FSSAI and QSR brand standards.

Work with QA/QC teams to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance.

Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.

Coordination with Internal Teams



Work closely with operations, kitchen, finance, and logistics teams.

Align procurement with menu changes, new product launches, or seasonal campaigns.

7.

System & Reporting



Maintain procurement records in ERP or POS systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, or restaurant-specific software).

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly procurement and cost reports.

Track delivery schedules and resolve discrepancies.

8.

Logistics Coordination



Ensure timely delivery of goods to all outlets or commissaries.

Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners.

Optimize routes and delivery frequencies to control costs.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:



Knowledge of F&B procurement, supply chain, or hospitality sourcing.

Familiarity with Indian food standards (FSSAI regulations).

Good negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.

Experience with multi-unit QSR brands (e.g., Domino's, Pizza Hut, McDonald's, Wow! Momo, Haldiram's) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
