Job Title: Purchase & Store Executive

Industry: Plastic Manufacturing (Pipes & Water Tanks)

Key Responsibilities:

Purchase Responsibilities:

Forecast and plan the purchase of raw materials like PVC resin, masterbatches, additives, packaging material, printing inks, etc.

Float inquiries, compare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize suppliers.

Ensure cost-effective & timely procurement without compromising quality.

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) as per approved vendor list.

Maintain vendor coordination for material delivery, quality, and payment follow-up.

Monitor minimum stock levels (R.O.P.) and ensure zero production stoppage.

Coordinate with the Accounts & Quality Department for GRN, billing, and vendor payment clearance.

Track market rate fluctuations and suggest cost-saving alternatives.

Store Management Responsibilities:

Maintain proper stock of raw material, finished goods, consumables, tools & packing materials.

Ensure systematic inward & outward entry of materials with GRN/DC.

Monitor FIFO / LIFO and material expiry (if applicable).

Regular stock verification / physical inventory audit.

Maintain bin cards, stock registers & ERP entries (if system-based).

Issue materials to production as per indents / job card requirements.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain stock ledger, daily stock summary & purchase reports.

Prepare MIS reports (Pending PO, Purchase Cost Analysis, Stock Status, Fast / Slow moving items).

Ensure compliance with audit, safety & ISO standards (if applicable).

Required Skills:

Knowledge of Plastic / PVC raw materials & vendor market.

Strong negotiation, follow-up & documentation skills.

Familiar with ERP / Tally / Inventory Software.

Good knowledge of GST, Purchase Terms & Commercial understanding.

Strong coordination with production, accounts & dispatch team.

Qualification:

B.Com / BBA / MBA / Any graduate with relevant experience.

Experience:

2-5 years in Purchase / Stores in a Manufacturing / Plastic Industry preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
