We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced

Purchase Expert

to manage the procurement of diamonds, gemstones, and jewelry materials. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in sourcing within the diamond jewelry industry, with strong negotiation skills, supplier management capabilities, and a deep understanding of diamond quality and pricing. You will play a critical role in ensuring timely availability of high-quality materials to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure loose diamonds, gemstones, and jewelry components Assess quality, certification (GIA, IGI, etc.), and pricing of materials Develop and maintain strong supplier/vendor relationships Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and payment conditions Collaborate with design, CAD, and production teams to align purchasing with project timelines Track inventory levels and manage purchase orders efficiently Stay updated with market trends and price fluctuations

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in purchasing/procurement in the diamond or jewelry industry Deep understanding of diamond grading, cuts, and certification standards Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Familiarity with jewelry production processes and timelines Knowledge of procurement software/tools is a plus Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
