Job Title: Senior Engineer Purchase

Department: Supply Chain Management

Reports To: Supply Chain Manager (SCM)

:

1. Vendor Sourcing: (Reporting to Design Team)

Applicable for all samples development until the release for series production.

Identify and evaluate potential new vendors and suppliers.

Negotiate favourable terms and agreements while considering quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

Release RFQs and follow up for quotes, release POs, ensure timely supply of unit parts as per required quantity and quality of parts.

Maintain a database of qualified suppliers and continually assess their performance.

2. Procurement: (Reporting to Supply Chain Manager)

Collaborate with various departments to determine procurement needs.

Review purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders in the ERP system.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during procurement processes.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement to meet demand.

Ensure no line stoppage due to want of materials.

3. Vendor Quality Management: (Reporting to Quality Team)

Review all the customer complaints related to vendor parts and take counter measures with vendor. Audit for compliance at vendor end.

Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations and initiate improvements where necessary.

Cultivate and manage relationships with existing vendors to optimize pricing and quality.

4. ERP Utilization:

Utilize the ERP system proficiently for creating, tracking, and managing purchase orders and related documentation.

Generate reports and analyse data within the ERP system to support decision-making processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
