Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Incharge strictly from the steel industry with strong product knowledge of CRCA, HRPO, Colour Coated, PPGI, and PPGL materials.

The ideal candidate must possess well-established relationships with mills, service centres, traders, and steel market stakeholders, and have hands-on experience in sourcing, price negotiations, vendor management, and inventory planning.

Key Responsibilities

:Source and procure CRCA, HRPO, Colour Coated, PPGI, PPGL and related steel material at competitive rates.

Maintain and strengthen relationships with steel mills, traders, and suppliers to ensure reliable supply and competitive pricing.

Negotiate terms, prices, timelines, and credit terms with vendors to optimize cost and supply efficiency.Track market trends, pricing fluctuations, raw material demand, and competitor buying to support management decisions.Coordinate with sales, production, and stores teams to ensure timely material availability.

Monitor vendor performance and ensure quality compliance.

Maintain purchase records, pricing database, and ensure accuracy in documentation and GRN processes.Review inventory levels and forecast requirements based on current and projected orders.

Strong knowledge of CRCA, HRPO, Colour Coated/PPGI/PPGL steel products.

Established market relations with steel mills, traders, and service centres.

Proven negotiation, vendor management, and costing skills.Understanding of inventory control, material planning, logistics & supply timelines.
