Required Purchase Officer having Minimum 2-3 yrs Experience in Control Panel Manufacturing Unit.

Freshers Need not Apply.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Procurement of Materials

Identify and procure electrical and electronic components like relays, contactors, PLCs, MCCBs, cables, terminals, sheet metals, etc. Ensure timely availability of raw materials Raise Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers.

2. Vendor Management

Develop and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers. Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery timelines, and pricing. Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals.

3. Inventory Coordination

Coordinate with the store team to manage stock levels. Avoid overstocking or understocking through proper planning and forecasting. Assist in maintaining minimum stock levels for frequently used components.

4. Cost Control and Budgeting

Work with the finance and production departments to align purchases with budget constraints. Find cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality. Track procurement costs and prepare cost comparison reports.

5. Technical Understanding

Understand basic specifications of electrical components used in control panels. Work closely with design and engineering teams to verify part compatibility and technical requirements.

6. Documentation and Compliance

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards (e.g., ISO certification if applicable). Manage material inspection reports, delivery notes, and invoice reconciliation.

7. Coordination with Departments

Collaborate with production, design, and planning departments to understand project requirements and timelines. Provide updates on material availability and procurement status.

8. Logistics and Delivery Follow-Up

Monitor shipment and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials. Handle any discrepancies in delivery, such as shortages, damages, or incorrect items.

9. Market Research

Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new supplier developments. Identify new sources or substitute products that can improve efficiency or reduce costs.

Skills Required

Knowledge of electrical and electronic components used in panel manufacturing. Strong negotiation and communication skills. ERP and inventory management systems (like Tally) Attention to detail and analytical thinking. Time management and multitasking
