The Purchasing Officer is responsible for managing the company's procurement activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality purchases. Key duties include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts, and maintaining accurate purchase records.
Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure favorable deals.
Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Review and verify the quality of purchased products.
Enter and maintain accurate order details in the internal database.
Keep updated records of purchased items, invoices, and related documents.
Prepare purchase reports, including cost analyses.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and inventory management.
Attend trade shows and industry events to stay informed about market trends and new products.
Office Location: 411-414, Baroda Commerce House (BCH), Nr. Bansal Mall, Gotri - Bhayli Road, Vadodara.
