YWCA of Delhi has projects and programs through which it provides safe places to working women and has working women's Hostels, shelter homes, has vocational training institutes, engages in advocacy for gender justice, promotes child rights, works towards ending violence against women and empowering them while creating awareness about their individual rights.

Qualifications and skills

:

Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field. Experience of 5+ years in similar procurement role. Strong written & verbal communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational, planning, networking, and time management abilities. Ability to identify and mitigate procurement risks, including vendor dependency, price volatility, and supply disruptions. Ability to identify market trends and make sound decisions under pressure. Capacity to adhere to client specifications and NGO financial procedures. Proficiency in the MS office (Excel, Word) & report generation. Familiarity with digital procurement platforms and inventory management systems is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:



Supplier Management:



l Identify, vet, and build strong, ethical relationships with suppliers.

l Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure optimum terms.

l Monitor supplier performance and address issues proactively.

Procurement Process:



l Research potential vendors, compare offers, and prepare comparative statements.

l Issue and track purchase orders; ensure timely deliveries.

l Review product quality and maintain accurate purchase records.

l Manage inventory levels, avoiding shortages and overstocking.

l Ensure timely submission of bills to Accounts.

Financial Responsibilities:



l Work within assigned budgets, seeking cost-effective opportunities.

l Conduct cost analyses and track market trends for competitive pricing.

l Ensure financial compliance with the organization's procurement policies.

Legal and Ethical Compliance:



l Ensure procurement practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

l Uphold high ethical standards in all supplier and procurement activities.

Documentation and Reporting:



l Maintain updated records of purchases, delivery schedules, invoices, and vendor details.

l Prepare periodic reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and costs.

Integrity:



Demonstrate honesty, openness, and a high level of integrity
