Qualification: Graduation

1.

Vendor Management

:

o Identify and establish relationships with key suppliers for transmission and distribution components such as conductors, insulators, cables, and hardware fittings, mainly mechanical items of steel and aluminum.

o Evaluate supplier performance through regular assessments of quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

o Develop and maintain a preferred supplier list, ensuring diversity and reliability.

2.

Procurement Process

:

o Manage the entire procurement cycle from requisition to payment and receipt of goods

o Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure continuous production without delays.

o Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure alignment between procurement plans and project requirements.

o Should follow 5 r principle of procurement.

3.

Negotiation and Contract Management

:

o Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.

o Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms.

o Ensure competitive pricing while mitigating supply chain risks.

4.

Budget and Cost Control

:

o Develop and manage procurement budgets.

o Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or delivery timelines.

o Track spending and develop strategies to reduce procurement costs.

5.

Regulatory Compliance

:

o Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international procurement regulations, especially for electrical equipment and safety standards.

o Work closely with quality control and regulatory teams to ensure all materials and components meet required specifications.

6.

Reporting and Documentation

:

o Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analyses, supplier performance, and market trends.

o Advance excel knowledge

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
