Develop and execute procurement strategies for domestic and international markets.
Source raw materials, components, and finished healthcare devices in alignment with company requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers based on quality, cost, lead time, and compliance.
Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and long-term supply agreements with vendors.
Vendor Management
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability and quality.
Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations.
Resolve vendor-related issues regarding quality, delivery, or pricing.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure procurement activities comply with healthcare regulations, ISO standards, and import-export laws.
Manage international trade documentation (LC, customs clearance, import/export licenses, HS codes, etc.).
Coordinate with regulatory and quality teams for product certifications and approvals.
Cost & Process Optimization
Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Monitor market trends, raw material prices, and currency fluctuations.
Implement best practices and digital procurement tools to improve efficiency.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with R&D, Quality, Finance, and Operations teams for seamless supply chain execution.
Support new product development with the timely procurement of prototypes and pilot materials.
Coordinate with logistics partners for efficient domestic and overseas shipments.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
5-8 years of experience in procurement/supply chain, preferably in medical devices, healthcare, or the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of domestic and international sourcing, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
Proven negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.
Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA, CE marking, and other healthcare compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / MS Dynamics) and MS Office.
