to oversee procurement for our modular and retail divisions. The ideal candidate must have strong vendor management skills, negotiation abilities, and experience in sourcing materials related to interiors, modular furniture, or luxury retail products.
This is a key operational role responsible for ensuring smooth supply chain flow, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of materials.
Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end purchasing for modular and retail categories.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers/vendors.
Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
Maintain stock levels and track material requirements.
Coordinate with design, production, and installation teams for timely procurement.
Ensure quality standards of materials received.
Maintain purchase orders, documentation, and vendor contracts.
Review market trends and ensure competitive cost sourcing.
Resolve supply issues and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Work closely with finance for billing, GRN, and reconciliation.
Requirements:
Minimum 4-6 years
of experience in purchasing, preferably in interiors, modular furniture, retail furnishings, or construction industry.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Good understanding of material quality, pricing, and market trends.
Proficiency in purchase software, Excel, and documentation.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under timelines and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
