About the Role

We're looking for a

Strategic Purchase Manager

who goes beyond traditional procurement. This role is designed for a

Core Responsibilities

Procurement Intelligence

Drive procurement decisions using

data analytics

, demand forecasting, and market trends. Integrate AI tools or ERP dashboards to predict material requirements and track vendor performance in real-time.

Supplier Ecosystem Innovation

Onboard vendors through

transparent digital systems

, ensuring quality, consistency, and ethics. Build partnerships with suppliers who offer

tech-forward, eco-sustainable, or innovation-based products.

Smart Inventory & Cost Leadership

Reduce costs without compromising quality through

lean purchasing

,

just-in-time inventory

, and dynamic order planning. Use predictive models to prevent stockouts and overstocking.

Strategic Sourcing

Lead

e-auctions, reverse bidding

, and supplier benchmarking to optimize sourcing. Develop dual/multi-vendor models to avoid single-point dependencies.

Compliance & Digital Documentation

Maintain

paperless procurement records

, automate invoice and GRN workflows, and ensure audit readiness. Ensure full compliance with national standards, safety codes, and ethical sourcing policies.

Cross-functional Leadership

Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, Finance, and Logistics to align procurement with operations and long-term goals. Participate in high-value project planning, providing

material insights at the design stage

.

What You Bring

A

passion for innovation, systems thinking, and negotiation

. Strong command over tools like

SAP, Oracle, Zoho, or custom ERP

platforms. An eye for

green sourcing

and socially responsible procurement. Agility to thrive in fast-paced environments with multiple live projects.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business. Master's preferred. 5-10 years of experience in progressive procurement roles, ideally in infrastructure, construction, or manufacturing. Certifications like

CIPS, CSCP, Six Sigma, or PMP

are a plus.
