Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Purchasing
Source, evaluate, and select vendors based on price, quality, delivery, and service.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best deals.
Monitor purchase orders, ensure timely delivery, and resolve any issues with vendors.
Inventory & Reporting
Collaborate with inventory and production teams to maintain stock levels and avoid shortages.
Track and report key procurement metrics, cost savings, and supplier performance.
Team & Compliance
Lead and guide purchasing staff to meet departmental objectives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and market regulations.
Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related field
Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role.
Technical Skills
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP/procurement software
Good understanding of inventory control and market trends.
