Job Description

A Purchase Manager in the Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) sector is responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials, components, and other necessary supplies for PEB projects. Key duties include developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts for competitive prices, overseeing inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery, and collaborating with production teams to forecast material needs. This role requires strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, knowledge of market trends, and experience in vendor development within the PEB industry.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Procurement

:Identify, evaluate, and select potential suppliers for raw materials, components, and services used in PEB manufacturing.

Supplier Management

:Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with domestic and international vendors.

Negotiation & Contracts

:Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure cost-effective solutions and favorable agreements.

Inventory Control

:Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure continuous supply for production while minimizing excess stock.

Forecasting & Planning

:Work with production and design teams to forecast material requirements and align procurement with project timelines.

Compliance

:Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.

Reporting

:Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.

Market Research

:Stay informed about industry trends and material prices to make informed purchasing decisions and identify optimization opportunities.

Experience

:3-5+ years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within the PEB or related manufacturing sector.

Pay: ₹25,324.03 - ₹35,681.45 per month
