Negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules
Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure quality compliance
3. Purchase Order & Documentation
Prepare
Purchase Orders (POs)
in ERP/Excel
Maintain price history, rate contracts, and BOQ-wise purchases
Track delivery timelines and follow up with vendors
Verify invoices, GRN, and coordinate with accounts for timely payments
4. Site Coordination
Coordinate with
project managers, site engineers, and storekeepers
Understand material requirements as per BOQ / drawings
Ensure timely delivery to avoid project delays
Handle urgent and emergency procurement
5. Cost Control & Market Research
Conduct market analysis for rate comparison
Identify cost-saving opportunities
Ensure procurement within approved budgets
Maintain CAPEX & OPEX purchase tracker
