Develop and implement procurement strategies for real estate and construction projects.
Prepare and manage the annual purchase plan in line with project requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand material specifications.
Vendor Management:
Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified vendors and suppliers.
Maintain an updated vendor database and build long-term relationships.
Conduct supplier performance evaluations periodically.
Purchase Operations:
Source and procure materials such as cement, steel, bricks, tiles, electricals, plumbing, HVAC, interiors, etc.
Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery timelines to ensure best value.
Issue purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries to project sites.
Cost Control & Budgeting:
Monitor and control purchase budgets for each project.
Track cost variations and suggest cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality.
Ensure compliance with financial controls and procurement standards.
Inventory Coordination:
Work with stores and warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock levels.
Avoid overstocking or material shortages that can delay project execution.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards.
Coordination & Reporting:
Coordinate with project teams, finance, logistics, and suppliers for smooth procurement flow.
Generate regular reports on procurement metrics, cost savings, and vendor performance.
