Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Purchase Manager in Real Estate
to manage procurement activities for ongoing and upcoming real estate projects. The role focuses on ensuring timely availability of quality materials at competitive costs while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Core Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction materials (cement, steel, sand, aggregates, electrical, plumbing, tiles, fittings, finishing materials)
Excellent vendor sourcing, development, and negotiation skills
Experience in rate comparison, PO issuance, and cost optimization
Good understanding of GST, billing, invoicing, and inventory control
Proficient in MS Excel, ERP / Purchase software
Strong coordination and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end procurement for residential and commercial real estate projects.
Source and purchase construction and finishing materials as per project requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure best pricing and quality.
Issue Purchase Orders and track delivery schedules in line with project timelines.
Coordinate with Project, Site, Stores, and Accounts teams for material planning.
Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Ensure material quality and compliance with specifications at site.
Maintain accurate purchase documentation, GRNs, invoices, and vendor records.
Track market trends and recommend cost-saving measures.
Resolve vendor-related issues, billing discrepancies, and delivery delays.
