Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements. Identify, evaluate & onboard reliable vendors/suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services. Manage end-to-end purchase cycle -- PR to PO issuance, delivery follow-up & documentation. Conduct rate negotiations, comparative statements, and finalize supply agreements. Ensure compliance with company policies, cost control norms and budgetary limits. Coordinate closely with Project, Engineering, Contracts, Store & Finance teams. Monitor vendor performance including quality, delivery timelines, and payment terms. Maintain updated procurement MIS, price database, and material forecasts. Review material consumption vs budget and take corrective actions in cost deviations. Handle statutory requirements such as GST, transport compliance, and invoice verifications. Resolve supply issues, manage risk, and establish long-term vendor relationships. Drive process improvement, digital procurement tools, and cost-saving initiatives. Ensure audit readiness with proper documentation and records.

Skills & Competencies Required

Strong knowledge of construction materials, civil & finishing items. Vendor management and excellent negotiation skills. Commercial & taxation knowledge (GST/TDS/Contract Terms). Effective communication, analytical and leadership capabilities. Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Procurement tools). Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or Graduation with PG Diploma/MBA in Supply Chain / Material Management (preferred)

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month

Pimple Nilakh, Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
